Early 70s, chopper fever. The bike in the foreground is a friend, 61 Sportster with 30" over springer. The bike in the background was mine. 58 panhead in a modified knucklehead frame, 22" over springer. I rebuilt the motor in the laundry room and painted it in the yard. Received many compliments on the paint.

Biker hassles by the cops were common in Phoenix at that time. My record was getting stopped 6 times in one night riding across the valley. In the many times I got stopped I never received a ticket for anything.
