Im writing an article about this Engine, built by Elmo Looper in 1941, 7 years before Clauson and Hood built the Brute 80"knucklehead. Elmo was at the factory specifically for stroker engines and this one, 38-61-38 has got Knuckleheads and the new 3-7/16" dome pistons.

Turns out JD Cameron never had a Hemi head until the 1970s
