Boat Anchor Engine

After sitting in the shop for nearly 4 years I finally picked up my 2000 Knucklehead Power 47 Knuckle. I rode it 7 miles and it started crop dusting the highway with oil. Called the mech. and he says, "well you know those early heads didn't have gaskets." He says that S&S will retro the heads for me but I have already put more money in this POS than I'll ever see back. If it works then I'll enjoy the ride and not worry about what it has cost, but if it's only good as a boat anchor.... .....Other than sending it into S&S , is there some way to get this thing to stop blowing oil out of every joint??

If you search the archives you should find multiple topics and i believe their resolution was a restricting orifice in the top end oiling.
