If anyone has used a straight through Big Base style pinion race, what did you use to hold the bearings in? A Chief snap ring and washer is too big. I think a 36mn internal snap ring is right but don’t have a plan for the washer outside of cutting down a conventional scout spacer. Any other options?

I make the 648 Pinion Housing complete with the snap ring and washer.
It is a direct fit for the Sport Scout bushing.
The only machining required is non-critical.
Opening up the outside of the bore in the case to aprox. 1.64" (clearance only)

Thanks Bruce. I have a race installed. Need to source the snap ring and washer. BTW- bottom end is being assembled, utilizing your Scout pinion adaptor to Chief wheels.
